Description:

We’re hiring a Financial Analyst Trainee who’s eager to turn data into insight and numbers into strategy — no experience required, just strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and attention to detail. You’ll help collect financial data, organize reports, and assist in preparing dashboards used by key stakeholders. We’ll teach you how to spot trends, calculate margins, and understand what drives profitability in a company. You’ll assist in forecasting revenue, tracking expenses, and helping managers stay on top of their budgets. You’ll support the creation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports used by leadership to assess progress. Expect to work with spreadsheets, dashboards, and simple forecasting models — with plenty of support along the way. We’ll guide you through interpreting performance variances and understanding what they really mean. We’ll guide you through revenue modeling, cash flow basics, and how businesses manage financial risk. You’ll help update KPI reports, organize financial data, and check that everything adds up before review meetings. You’ll also learn how to document assumptions, keep models organized, and spot red flags in raw financial reports.

Basic Qualifications:

• Take ownership of your analyses—your work can drive major company decisions.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support business decisions.
• Translate numbers into insights—your job is more than spreadsheets, it’s storytelling with data.
• Assist in budgeting, planning, and performance tracking for departments or entire business units.
• Support cost-cutting initiatives and efficiency improvements with clear financial reasoning.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in corporate finance, investment analysis, consulting, or fintech.
• Able to consolidate data from different departments and prepare meaningful business summaries.
• Comfortable supporting investment decisions, cost analysis, or product pricing strategies.
• Comfortable using financial software such as Bloomberg, Power BI, QuickBooks, or ERP systems like SAP.
• Willing to research industry benchmarks, competitor data, and macroeconomic trends.
