Description:

We’re hiring an enthusiastic Online English Tutor to help students improve their language skills through personalized lessons. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs and learning goals of each student. You’ll assess each student’s level and tailor lessons to meet their specific language learning goals and needs. You’ll provide constructive feedback, encouraging students to improve their speaking, writing, and comprehension skills. You’ll assist students with pronunciation, accent reduction, and other key areas of language acquisition. You’ll encourage active participation in lessons, using engaging activities to keep students motivated and focused. You’ll monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans as necessary to ensure effective learning outcomes. You’ll work with students to help them prepare for English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, and others.

Basic Qualifications:

• Foster a friendly, encouraging atmosphere that builds student confidence and motivation to speak English.
• Be available for scheduling flexibility—some students may prefer early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Collect feedback after sessions and make improvements based on student needs and preferences.
• Adapt lesson structure for kids vs. adults—what works for one may bore the other.
• Help students prepare for standardized exams like IELTS, TOEFL, or business English interviews if needed.

Preferred:

• Organized with lesson notes, homework assignments, and student progress tracking.
• Interested in continuous learning and improving teaching techniques.
• Can adapt teaching style for kids, teens, or adults depending on age and learning style.
• Knows how to give constructive feedback and correct mistakes without discouraging students.
• Familiar with teaching platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or ClassIn.
