Description:

We’re looking for a Manual QA Tester who’s not afraid to click every button twice, think like a user, and ask, “What if someone tries this? You’ll be responsible for validating features, verifying edge cases, and ensuring every release meets our quality standards. You’ll execute test cases, perform exploratory testing, and identify layout issues, crashes, or broken flows. You’ll report bugs with precision: what happened, where, how often, and why it matters — so developers can fix quickly and clearly. We’ll count on you to spot inconsistencies, broken flows, and UI glitches before they reach our users. We’ll rely on you to verify bug fixes, ensure regressions haven’t occurred, and confirm that features meet expectations. You’ll maintain a healthy list of test scenarios and update them as features evolve. You’ll also keep track of multiple app versions and help manage testing timelines within the sprint. You’ll verify fixed issues, retest features after changes, and keep regression from creeping into stable builds. You’ll assist in exploratory testing, negative testing, and usability checks to provide full-spectrum quality feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Report blockers and critical issues quickly—your alert can prevent a broken release.
  • Work with tools like Jira, TestRail, ClickUp, or spreadsheets to manage your QA workflow.
  • Stay curious—poke around the app even after the checklist says you’re done.
  • Understand the product deeply so you can think like a real user, not just a checklist robot.
  • Test web, mobile, or desktop applications manually to ensure features work as expected.

Preferred:

  • Pays strong attention to detail and can maintain focus during repetitive test cases.
  • Knows how to perform smoke tests, sanity tests, regression tests, and UAT where needed.
  • Enjoys finding flaws, breaking things (gently), and ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Familiar with test case management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray is a plus.
  • Willing to participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Benefits:

  • Mentorship from experienced testers who’ve survived the chaos before you.
  • No ego when things break — just high-fives when you catch them first.
  • We celebrate bug-free builds like birthdays (with cake, yes).
  • Your feedback matters from alpha to launch — you’re part of the product, not a side-check.
  • Real career paths: senior QA, product QA, QA lead — you choose.

We’ll guide you in logging and prioritizing issues by severity, frequency, and user impact. This role is ideal for someone who values structure, takes pride in clear reporting, and has a sharp eye for patterns. You’ll help maintain a growing set of manual test cases, keeping them relevant as features evolve. You don’t need coding experience, but you’ll learn how to think systematically, explore creatively, and test with purpose. You’ll work in a fast-moving environment where your input directly affects what users experience in the next update. By the end of your first months, you’ll be seen as a reliability checkpoint — someone who makes every release stronger. We’ll support your growth with training, mentorship, and the chance to move toward automation, QA leadership, or product work. By the end of your first release cycle, you’ll be trusted, respected, and irreplaceable on the QA team. If you believe quality is in the details — and you know where to look — we’re ready for you to test with us.
