Description:

We’re searching for a Remote Onboarding Specialist who can turn day one jitters into day one excitement. Your mission will be to craft an onboarding experience that’s smooth, engaging, and genuinely helpful — not just a checklist of tasks. If you know how to turn a Zoom call into a warm conversation, you’ll thrive here. You’ll coordinate training schedules, send out access credentials, and make sure no one’s stuck waiting on IT. This role is part guide, part organizer, and part cheerleader — because a great start matters. Your day might start with setting up accounts and end with hosting a virtual coffee chat. You’ll create checklists, FAQs, and onboarding documents that answer questions before they’re asked. Your calendar will be your best friend, and your follow-ups will be legendary. If you’ve ever created a Notion workspace just to help a friend get organized — this is your kind of job.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be proactive—anticipate what new hires might need before they ask and get ahead of potential issues.
• Support global or remote-first teams by adjusting onboarding flows based on time zones, roles, or contract types.
• Facilitate async onboarding options (videos, docs, checklists) for self-paced learning across time zones.
• Track onboarding progress using checklists or tools like Notion, Trello, or an HRIS, and follow up as needed.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and team leads to make sure everything is ready before the new hire’s start date.

Preferred:

• Pays attention to detail when collecting forms, IDs, and legal documentation.
• Familiarity with onboarding platforms like BambooHR, Sapling, or Trello.
• Experience preparing welcome kits, orientation schedules, and FAQ documents.
• Able to answer common questions about company policies, systems, or benefits.
• Can coordinate between HR, IT, and team leads to ensure everything is ready on day one.
