Description:
Join us as a Musician / Composer Trainee and start shaping soundscapes that move, inspire, and tell stories — no prior experience required, just musical curiosity and ambition. You’ll help brainstorm and build original tracks for podcasts, indie games, video content, and more. You’ll support our audio team by crafting melodies, experimenting with chord progressions, and creating mood-driven soundscapes. You’ll explore different genres and learn how to adapt your style to meet the tone of various projects. Expect to work closely with sound designers, producers, and video editors to align audio with visuals. You’ll dive into the basics of sound design, sampling, and building dynamic audio from scratch. We’ll guide you in writing musical themes, experimenting with harmonies, and balancing instrumentation. You’ll learn how to keep compositions tight, emotionally rich, and sonically balanced. You’ll also help remix existing tracks, enhance emotional resonance, or add subtle cues that elevate a scene.
Basic Qualifications:
- Revise compositions based on feedback, emotional impact, or changing creative direction.
- Play instruments or conduct live sessions to bring your compositions to life.
- Respect feedback from clients or collaborators, even if it challenges your style.
- Record high-quality audio using DAWs and equipment suited to the genre and setting.
- Provide multiple versions or stems of tracks to give editors flexibility.
Preferred:
- Able to compose to picture, timecode, or thematic briefs for synchronized media work.
- Background or strong passion in music composition, performance, sound design, or film scoring.
- Understands music theory, chord progressions, dynamics, and rhythm across various genres.
- Comfortable arranging music for solo, ensemble, or orchestral formats depending on project scope.
- Can manage timelines for demo submission, revisions, and final delivery professionally.
Benefits:
- You bring the melody, harmony, and heart — we’ll bring the platform.
- Work on real projects — films, games, ads, podcasts, albums — your sound matters.
- Royalties, buyouts, or hybrid contracts — we’re transparent and fair from day one.
- If you hear melodies everywhere and want them to reach the world — this is your stage.
- You’ll build a diverse portfolio — orchestral, lo-fi, cinematic, ambient, quirky, all welcome.
You’ll learn the importance of audio consistency, file naming, and preparing tracks for feedback rounds. You’ll pick up on the subtle art of looping background scores that stay interesting without being distracting. You’ll learn the basics of mixing levels, EQing your tracks, and preparing music for voiceovers or dialogue layers. We believe music is storytelling — you’ll learn how to tell a story with a single note or silence. You’ll contribute to real-world projects and see your music live in products or videos used by real audiences. You’ll gain a better understanding of how sound influences perception, emotion, and user experience. We’ll mentor you through creative blocks, offer honest feedback, and help you find your sound. If you feel music deeply and want to turn it into something that moves people — this is where you start.
