Description:

We’re hiring a Junior Frontend Developer Trainee to help turn Figma designs into functional, pixel-perfect components — no experience required, just attention to detail and solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JS. You’ll work closely with designers to translate mockups into code that looks, feels, and functions exactly as intended. We’ll teach you how to read design specs, extract assets, and build UI that respects spacing, typography, and brand consistency. You’ll get hands-on with responsive design, layout systems like Flexbox and Grid, and learn how to write clean, maintainable code. Expect to work with components in React (or similar), using props and variants to match Figma’s logic and structure. We’ll show you how to implement themes, tokens, grids, and utility-first CSS like Tailwind or styled-components. Expect to touch Styled Components, Tailwind, or CSS Modules depending on the project — and understand how style and structure work together. You’ll gain experience working in structured codebases, committing with clarity, and following branching and review workflows. We’ll guide you on performance tuning, cross-browser quirks, and how to handle "it looks different on Safari" like a pro.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help spot UX issues, performance bottlenecks, or missing states (like loading or error).
• Write clean, readable code and keep it consistent with the team’s style guide.
• Take ownership of small parts of the codebase and make them yours.
• Build responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—starting from Figma or scratch.
• Collaborate with designers and backend devs to bring features to life smoothly.

Preferred:

• Comfortable using CSS methodologies like BEM, utility-first frameworks (e.g. Tailwind), or pre-processors like SASS.
• Open to writing simple animations, transitions, or micro-interactions for better UX.
• Familiar with basic testing practices such as unit tests, snapshot tests, or manual test plans.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a solid understanding of responsive web design.
• Understands how to structure components, manage state, and handle props or events in modern frameworks.
