Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Online English Tutor to help students master the English language. You’ll design customized lesson plans that cater to the specific needs and learning goals of each student. You’ll teach a variety of English topics, including grammar, writing, speaking, listening, and reading comprehension. You’ll work with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced learners, helping them build their confidence in using English. You’ll provide constructive feedback on assignments and during conversations, helping students improve their language abilities. You’ll assist students in preparing for standardized English tests like TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge English exams. You’ll foster a positive learning environment, making lessons enjoyable and engaging through interactive activities and exercises. You’ll create a fun and interactive learning environment, using multimedia, real-life scenarios, and games to keep students engaged.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ultimately, help learners feel more confident, fluent, and empowered to use English in real-world situations.
• Adapt lesson structure for kids vs. adults—what works for one may bore the other.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials focused on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills.
• Assign homework, reading tasks, or writing exercises that reinforce class topics and support independent study.
• Use tools like Google Docs, Canva, or interactive whiteboards to share visuals, worksheets, or notes in real time.

Preferred:

• Experience preparing students for tests like IELTS, TOEFL, or general conversation practice.
• Familiar with teaching platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or ClassIn.
• Can handle technical issues calmly and offer flexible rescheduling when needed.
• Can adapt teaching style for kids, teens, or adults depending on age and learning style.
• Familiar with CEFR levels (A1–C2) and basic language assessment principles.
