You’re the kind of writer who can make a dry topic feel fresh, a niche topic feel universal, and a complex topic feel simple. You’re comfortable working with content briefs — but also confident enough to pitch your own angles and fresh takes. You’re comfortable juggling multiple assignments and delivering clean drafts on time — no ghosting, no excuses. You’ll be responsible for turning in clean, SEO-friendly copy on deadline, with internal links, smart formatting, and a strong sense of flow.
Basic Qualifications:
- Use tools like Grammarly, Hemingway, or SurferSEO to ensure clarity, tone, and keyword performance.
- Submit polished drafts by deadline and revise quickly based on editor or client feedback.
- Manage multiple assignments at once and communicate proactively if delays or blockers arise.
- Adapt writing tone and style to match different brand voices, from casual and witty to formal and technical.
- Optimize posts for readability and SEO—using proper headings, meta descriptions, internal links, and keywords.
Preferred:
- Enjoys learning about new topics and simplifying them for a broad audience.
- Understands how to structure articles with headings, subheadings, and clear flow.
- Can write blog posts ranging from 600 to 2,000+ words depending on project needs.
