Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to support the food and beverage operations in our hotel — perfect for someone who takes cleanliness seriously and thrives in a team-driven, guest-focused environment. You’ll work at weddings, conferences, private parties, and outdoor events, ensuring all kitchenware and service items are cleaned and ready for use. You’ll help manage large volumes of items during buffet service, breakfast rush, or evening dining with precision and speed. You’ll handle deep-cleaning duties such as floor mopping, drain flushing, and wiping down equipment and shelves. You’ll help clean up food prep tools, chafing dishes, trays, and coolers to make breakdown smooth and efficient. You’ll collect dirty trays from return stations, stacking and sorting them for safe and efficient washing. You’ll follow safety and sanitation standards even in improvised or limited-space setups. You’ll be trained in food safety, chemical handling, and hygiene practices according to local health codes. You’ll be trained to operate mobile dish machines, water heaters, and sanitizers specific to field service.

Basic Qualifications:

• Know that even though you’re behind the scenes, your work keeps everything moving forward.
• Respect food waste handling rules and dispose of leftover food according to kitchen policies.
• Sweep and mop floors in dishwashing and prep areas to prevent slips and maintain hygiene.
• Help clean kitchen appliances, prep tables, or storage areas when needed.
• Be reliable and punctual—your role is essential to the kitchen’s flow and cleanliness.

Preferred:

• Pays close attention to cleanliness, temperature standards, and kitchen hygiene regulations.
• Familiar with basic kitchen safety procedures, including handling sharp items and hot surfaces.
• Capable of restocking clean items to appropriate stations and notifying staff of shortages.
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or cafeteria setting as a dishwasher or kitchen helper.
• Comfortable maintaining a clean and organized dish pit area to prevent cross-contamination or delays.

You’ll help track inventory of soaps, sanitizer, gloves, and other cleaning supplies as part of the sanitation team. You’ll be expected to wear proper PPE and maintain a clean uniform throughout the shift. You’ll receive break time, meal access, and guidance from kitchen leads who value reliability and efficiency. You’ll maintain a clean uniform and follow basic appearance guidelines as a representative of the kitchen staff. You’ll rotate between scrubbing, mopping, drying, and stacking — keeping the rhythm moving even when the kitchen is quiet. You’ll receive support from a kitchen supervisor and be encouraged to grow within hotel food operations if desired.
