Description:

We’re hiring a Cleaner Trainee for night shifts in a shopping mall — a role for someone who enjoys calm, structured work and takes pride in visible results. You’ll begin by learning how to clean large open areas like corridors, food courts, and entrances after the crowds are gone. You’ll assist in disinfecting surfaces such as beds, examination tables, door handles, and medical equipment covers. You’ll assist in wiping down desks, sanitizing door handles, and refreshing shared spaces like kitchens and restrooms. You’ll help restock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, bottled water, toilet paper, and minibar items. You’ll help restock supplies like soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and waste bags during your rounds. You’ll follow checklists to ensure nothing is missed — including remote controls, light switches, and drawer interiors. You’ll learn how to mop and sanitize floors using hospital-approved cleaning agents and specialized tools. You’ll learn how to spot maintenance issues (like a leaking faucet or broken light) and report them to the supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow health, fire, and safety regulations in every aspect of your duties.
• Report any maintenance issues, leaks, or damages to supervisors for prompt repair.
• Adapt routines during special events, deep-cleaning days, or seasonal shifts.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks within set timeframes.
• Record completed tasks when required for accountability or quality control.

Preferred:

• Pays close attention to detail when cleaning surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas.
• Understands the difference between general cleaning, deep cleaning, and disinfecting tasks.
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for others.
• Understands how to use cleaning products safely, including proper dilution, storage, and labeling.
• Experience performing cleaning duties in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
