Description:
We’re hiring an Electrician to support the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings — perfect for someone who’s detail-oriented, responsive, and experienced in keeping public spaces powered and safe. You’ll work with high-voltage systems, control panels, motor drives, and automation equipment across heavy machinery and production lines. You’ll install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, and conduits according to local and national electrical codes. You’ll be responsible for installing conduit, cable trays, bus bars, and grounding systems according to safety codes. You’ll respond to service tickets quickly, working efficiently to minimize disruption to building occupants. You’ll assist with wiring for new installations and system upgrades during plant expansions or shutdowns. You’ll assist in retrofitting buildings with energy-efficient lighting, motion sensors, and smart paneling as needed. You’ll inspect fire alarms, exit signs, and emergency lighting systems to meet safety standards and pass inspections. You’ll document your work, log inspection reports, and track repair history in CMMS or maintenance systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Take pride in work that quite literally keeps the lights on—safely and reliably.
- Run wiring through walls, ceilings, and conduits while following safety and code regulations.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, or facility managers on project timelines and requirements.
- Prepare job estimates, material lists, or reports for supervisors or clients.
Preferred:
- Understands the handling of low-voltage systems, grounding, and surge protection methods.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Background or strong interest in electrical systems, building trades, or energy technology.
- Willing to perform work in confined spaces, attics, rooftops, or underground locations when required.
- Pays attention to neatness, durability, and code compliance in every wiring job.
Benefits:
- You'll train the next generation if you want — or focus on mastering your craft.
- We celebrate safety, efficiency, and problem-solving — not just speed.
- You’re not just wiring — you’re keeping homes and businesses alive.
- Clean job sites, respectful teams, and zero tolerance for unsafe practices.
- Join a crew where jokes fly, tools click, and everyone pulls their weight.
You’ll be trained to follow residential building codes, fire safety protocols, and GFCI/AFCI regulations. You’ll receive training in rapid troubleshooting, live-panel safety, and safe work methods under time constraints. You’ll log repairs, parts used, and time spent per task using building management software or ticketing platforms. You’ll rotate between regular shifts, emergency calls, and after-hours coverage based on building requirements. You’ll be expected to work professionally around staff, guests, or tenants — often while systems are live. You’ll receive support from senior techs and industrial supervisors who will mentor your work on advanced systems. Previous experience in an industrial setting is preferred, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to train are welcome. If you're ready to light up homes with skill and care, we’re ready to welcome you to residential electrical work. If you’re ready to keep buildings powered, safe, and running smoothly — we’re ready to put tools in your hand and welcome you as an Electrician.
