Description:
We’re looking for a Hotel Front Desk Clerk who understands that hospitality starts long before a guest reaches their room. You’ll be the calm in a storm, the answer to a question, the smile after a long journey. You’ll handle bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and everything in between with confidence and warmth. You’ll manage check-ins, check-outs, bookings, and billing with grace and attention to detail. You’ll answer questions, resolve issues, and make local recommendations like a true concierge. Whether it’s a room key that won’t work or a breakfast question at 5 a. ” You’ll monitor reservations, manage guest profiles, and ensure every detail is accurate — from room types to preferences. You’ll maintain a calm, polished front desk even during the rush of weekend arrivals or conference crowds. You’ll coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to make sure every room meets expectations — and then some. You’ll listen more than you speak, notice what others miss, and offer help before guests even ask. You’ll use our property management system like a pro, but your real power is in making people feel cared for.
Basic Qualifications:
- Maintain organized logs of wake-up calls, late checkouts, lost and found items, and incident reports as needed.
- Assist with concierge services like booking taxis, recommending restaurants, or printing boarding passes.
- Manage daily front desk operations, including cash handling, credit card processing, and shift handovers with accurate records.
- Greet guests with a warm, professional attitude as they arrive—checking them in efficiently and confirming reservation details.
- Ensure the front desk area remains tidy, stocked, and professional—creating a welcoming first impression at all times.
Preferred:
- Able to check guests in and out efficiently while handling payments and documentation.
- Values punctuality, reliability, and friendliness in daily interactions.
- Flexible with working shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Capable of answering calls, responding to emails, and managing reservation inquiries.
- Comfortable managing busy periods with professionalism and calm multitasking.
Benefits:
- We provide training, systems, and SOPs — but your professionalism makes it personal.
- We track and celebrate guest satisfaction — and we make sure you’re recognized when they mention you by name.
- And yes, we’ll train you for check-in systems, emergencies, and how to politely deal with a very late guest.
- You’ll handle check-ins, check-outs, phone calls, emails, reservations, and the occasional “we need towels.”
- Flexible shifts — morning, evening, or overnight — to fit your lifestyle or preference.
You’ll log guest feedback, respond to concerns, and go the extra mile to make things right when needed. Your front desk won’t just function — it will feel like a calm, polished command center for the guest experience. You’ll know when to follow protocol and when to offer flexibility — always with good judgment and care. You believe that true hospitality is in the little things — tone, timing, and genuine attention. You’ll help create an atmosphere where guests feel seen, safe, and truly cared for. If you know how to make a guest feel special without ever saying “VIP,” you’re exactly who we’re looking for. If you believe great hospitality lives in the details, the tone, and the extra five seconds of care — this job is yours. You’ll be a local expert, a tech user, a multitasking wizard, and a hospitality ambassador all in one. You’re not just welcoming guests — you’re creating moments they’ll remember long after they check out. Your professionalism, patience, and warm attitude help build loyalty with every stay. If you love helping people feel at home — even when they’re far from it — we’d love to welcome you to our team.
