Description:

We’re hiring a UX/UI Designer Trainee to help us design landing pages and marketing sites — no experience required, just a sense of layout, structure, and clarity in visual communication. You’ll work alongside product designers and researchers to understand real user behavior and turn insights into better interfaces. We’ll teach you how to design clean, intuitive mobile flows that guide users without confusion or clutter. You’ll help create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and simple prototypes to test ideas quickly and improve clarity with each version. We’ll guide you through the logic behind grids, padding, icon size, interaction states, and how to design with reuse in mind. We’ll guide you through copy + layout pairing — how to support a message visually without overwhelming the page. Expect to update buttons, fix corner radii, improve hover states, and help teams keep everything unified across pages and platforms. You’ll use Figma and FigJam daily, learning how to keep files clean, flows logical, and handoffs smooth. Some days you’ll work on mobile views, others on responsive desktop — and you’ll get faster at adapting to different screen sizes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work closely with developers to ensure designs translate well in code—ask questions, share specs.
• Stay up to date with design trends but only apply what actually improves the experience.
• Maintain and evolve design systems to keep components consistent and scalable.
• Be open to scrapping work if testing shows it’s not working—iteration is part of the job.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to turn ideas into wireframes and prototypes.

Preferred:

• Understands the importance of consistent branding, typography, and iconography across screens.
• Experience working on real-world products, case studies, or freelance/agency design briefs.
• Proficient in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch with experience creating user interfaces and interactive prototypes.
• Wants to grow into roles like Product Designer, UX Researcher, or Design Lead.
• Understands user-centered design principles and can apply them to web, mobile, or software products.
