Description:

We’re hiring a Caregiver to provide compassionate, dependable support to individuals who need daily assistance — perfect for someone who’s patient, attentive, and driven by the desire to help others live with dignity. You’ll assist older adults with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, always with sensitivity to their mobility and comfort levels. You’ll help with evening routines such as changing into sleepwear, medication reminders, and settling into bed peacefully. You’ll assist with medication reminders and watch for signs of confusion, dizziness, or changes in mood or memory. You’ll support light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up to maintain a safe and clean living environment. You’ll be trained to recognize signs of pain, restlessness, or decline and respond promptly with grace and alertness. You’ll document sleep quality, incidents, or changes in condition that occurred during the shift. You’ll be trained in safe transfer techniques, including the use of walkers, wheelchairs, or mobility aids. You’ll assist with toileting, incontinence care, and hygiene needs discreetly and respectfully.

Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate clearly and kindly with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Follow personalized care plans while being attentive to changing needs or comfort levels.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities if transportation is needed.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Track activities, meals, mood, and care tasks in logs if required by family or agency.

Preferred:

• Understands how to respond to emergencies calmly and notify family members or supervisors promptly.
• Capable of preparing simple, nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Comfortable reminding clients to take medication and observing for changes in physical or emotional well-being.
• Wants to grow into roles like Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide, or Care Coordinator.
• Enjoys building trust and improving the quality of life for those in need of care.
