We’re hiring women who want to become Auto Mechanics — not just as a statement, but because this trade needs more sharp, focused, and capable hands like yours. This is a hands-on role from day one: you’ll learn directly in the shop, not in a classroom, guided by certified mechanics who’ve been in your shoes. You’ll begin with the fundamentals: how to lift safely, how to change oil correctly, how to inspect brakes, and how to write a proper service note. You’ll begin by learning shop safety, how to use tools properly, how to lift vehicles, and how to stay organized under the hood. You’ll treat each customer’s car like your own — whether it’s a daily driver, a work truck, or someone’s first set of wheels. ” You’ll be taught how to read service manuals, write clean job notes, and explain issues clearly to other techs or service advisors. You’ll work on real customer cars and be trusted to assist with real repairs — knowing you’ve got backup when you need it. You’ll have mentors who support your growth and teammates who treat you like a professional — not a token or someone who needs to “prove herself.

Basic Qualifications:

• Handle vehicle lifts, jacks, and tools safely—adhering to torque specifications and using proper repair techniques.
• Adapt to different vehicle makes, models, and years—working with both modern and older systems confidently.
• Assist in training junior technicians or apprentices on shop procedures, tool usage, and repair best practices.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors or customers to explain diagnostics, recommended repairs, and cost estimates.
• Suggest preventative maintenance or future repairs based on observed wear, leaks, or system degradation.

Preferred:

• Understands how to inspect vehicles and identify worn or damaged parts that need replacement.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers or service advisors about findings and estimates.
• Familiar with shop safety protocols, proper tool usage, and hazardous material handling.
• Thrives in hands-on, collaborative work environments with daily variety and challenge.
• Can work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
