Description:

We’re searching for a Remote Onboarding Specialist who can turn day one jitters into day one excitement. You’ll design onboarding experiences that feel personal, even across screens and time zones. From welcome emails to Zoom calls, you’ll guide new employees through every step of their onboarding journey. You’ll manage onboarding checklists, schedule intros with team members, and make sure no question goes unanswered. This role is part guide, part organizer, and part cheerleader — because a great start matters. Think of yourself as the host of a virtual welcome party — making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and set up for success. You’ll make sure every new hire has a clear path forward and knows who to turn to for support. You’ll track progress across onboarding milestones, send reminders, and celebrate small wins along the way. We’re a remote team, so your ability to make virtual feel personal will set the tone for every new hire.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be the friendly face behind the process—someone who makes new hires feel excited, supported, and ready to contribute.
• Keep communication clear, organized, and empathetic—onboarding is more than a checklist, it’s someone’s first impression.
• Track onboarding progress using checklists or tools like Notion, Trello, or an HRIS, and follow up as needed.
• Guide new hires through the entire onboarding process, from signing documents to feeling confident in their new role.
• Coordinate equipment shipments, account setups, and software permissions (even if you don’t do the IT part, you’ll track it).

Preferred:

• Values professionalism, confidentiality, and clear communication in every step.
• Can coordinate between HR, IT, and team leads to ensure everything is ready on day one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Understands the unique needs of remote hires and how to make onboarding engaging.
• Enjoys creating structure and helping others feel informed and connected.
