Description:

We’re hiring a Junior QA Tester to join our team and help ensure that our software meets the highest quality standards. You’ll execute manual test cases and report bugs, helping to ensure that each feature works as intended before release. You’ll create and execute test plans, ensuring thorough coverage of all features and maintaining a high standard of quality. You’ll perform a variety of tests, including functional, regression, and system integration, to ensure software performance. You’ll participate in system, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure our products meet user expectations. You’ll help automate testing processes, creating scripts to enhance efficiency and reduce manual testing time. You’ll collaborate with product teams to understand the requirements and provide input on testing strategies. You’ll stay current with industry best practices and testing methodologies, continuously improving your skills and approach.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be proactive in learning from senior QA engineers, documentation, or courses—your skillset will grow with every sprint.
• Be curious—ask "what happens if…" and test like a real user, not just a script.
• Keep test environments clean and up to date, working with developers if staging bugs prevent testing.
• Learn how to test for accessibility, performance, and mobile behavior—QA goes beyond "does it work?"
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand features and verify that they meet specifications.

• Enjoys breaking things in a structured way to improve product stability.

You’ll work closely with the QA team to ensure continuous improvement in test coverage and methodologies. You’ll manage test data and assist with creating environments for efficient testing and verification. You’ll create test reports to track progress and provide feedback to team members and leadership. You’ll track test results, analyzing defects and providing regular reports to leadership on progress and issues found. You’ll maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring no bugs or defects go unnoticed during testing. You’ll participate in team meetings, collaborating with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure quality delivery.
