Description:
We’re hiring a Social Worker to support families in navigating stress, conflict, and life transitions — ideal for someone who believes in healing relationships through empathy, structure, and steady guidance. You’ll meet with parents, caregivers, and children to assess family dynamics, identify concerns, and create care plans tailored to household needs. You’ll conduct one-on-one sessions, group workshops, or family meetings to support healthy development and communication. You’ll help patients understand their care options, insurance coverage, and available support services. You’ll document all interactions, progress notes, and service plans with accuracy and confidentiality in mind. You’ll help clients build coping strategies, set realistic goals, and work through crises with patience and structure. You’ll collaborate with doctors, nurses, case managers, and chaplains as part of an interdisciplinary care team. You’ll be trained in HIPAA compliance, cultural sensitivity, and trauma-informed care practices within the hospital setting. You’ll provide emotional support during critical life transitions such as illness, loss, relocation, or recovery.
Basic Qualifications:
- Balance large caseloads while ensuring each client receives consistent attention and care.
- Handle emotional stress in a healthy way and seek supervision or support when needed.
- Educate clients on their rights and available benefits to promote empowerment and independence.
- Maintain cultural sensitivity and adapt approaches to diverse backgrounds and values.
- Recognize signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation and take appropriate legal steps.

- Pays close attention to documentation, timely reporting, and maintaining accurate client records.
- Willing to conduct home visits, school visits, or community outreach depending on program requirements.
