We’re hiring a Public Relations Trainee who’s excited to learn how to manage brand image, engage with media, and tell stories that connect — no experience required, just a love for language and a sharp sense of timing. You’ll help draft press releases, prepare social media statements, and brainstorm fresh ideas for media outreach. We’ll teach you how to identify the right journalists, craft story angles, and follow up professionally to land coverage. You’ll assist with media lists, daily monitoring, and tracking brand mentions across press and social platforms. Expect to participate in real campaigns, from product launches to reputation management efforts. You’ll learn how to write for different formats: newsrooms, blogs, emails, and even Instagram captions — each with their own voice. We’ll show you how to respond to crises with calm, consistency, and strategic messaging. You’ll participate in brainstorm sessions where campaigns, stunts, or outreach strategies are developed. We’ll introduce you to the tools of the trade — like media databases, coverage trackers, and sentiment analysis dashboards.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor news, and cultural moments that impact messaging.
• Use both proactive and reactive PR tactics depending on the situation.
• Support events like trade shows, conferences, or charity initiatives with comms planning and on-site PR.
• Maintain a media contact list and update it regularly to reflect current relationships.
• Remember: your words don’t just reflect the company—they shape how it’s remembered.

Preferred:

• Familiar with social media strategy and how PR integrates with digital marketing efforts.
• Able to craft compelling narratives and human-interest angles that generate media interest.
• Able to coordinate interviews, press events, and public appearances with journalists or influencers.
• Organized in managing editorial calendars, campaign timelines, and approval workflows.
• Familiar with building and maintaining media contact lists and outreach strategies.
