We’re looking for a WordPress Assistant who knows their way around the dashboard like it’s second nature and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty with plugins, themes, and a little bit of HTML/CSS. You’ve probably spent hours inside the WordPress dashboard, adjusting layouts, formatting posts, uploading media, and making sure pages look just right. You’ve probably used Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders, and you know how to make edits without breaking the design. You’re comfortable using page builders like Elementor or WPBakery, and you know how to make things look good without overcomplicating the backend. You know what makes a site easy to use — smooth navigation, optimized images, clear headings — and you make sure everything is polished before it goes live. You’re comfortable following brand guidelines, updating menus, and organizing content so that everything is easy to find and navigate.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support eCommerce setups (WooCommerce) by managing products, inventory, or simple plugin settings.
• Manage user roles, comments, and spam filtering so the backend stays organized and under control.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to implement changes and make sure design and functionality go hand in hand.
• Participate in QA and review processes before new features or designs are pushed live.
• Support SEO efforts by optimizing on-page elements like alt text, meta descriptions, permalinks, and heading structure.

Preferred:

• Pays attention to SEO basics using tools like Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
• Background or strong interest in web design, digital marketing, or content management.
• Basic understanding of how WordPress works, including themes, plugins, and page builders.
• Can handle light design tweaks using themes and theme customizers.
• Willing to ask questions when stuck and take initiative to solve minor issues.
