Description:

We’re hiring a Factory Operator to support operations in our metal processing facility — ideal for someone who’s strong, focused, and committed to safety in an industrial environment. You’ll operate heavy-duty equipment such as press brakes, rollers, furnaces, or cutting machines depending on your assigned station. You’ll be responsible for loading raw ingredients, monitoring batching systems, and ensuring proper portion control. You’ll assist in labeling, sealing, and boxing finished goods for shipment while maintaining consistency and speed. You’ll perform regular quality checks — inspecting products for defects, alignment, and labeling accuracy. You’ll log data such as quantities produced, materials used, and any downtimes or mechanical concerns during your shift. You’ll be expected to communicate clearly during shift handovers to keep the next team informed and prepared. You’ll document material usage, scrap, and output volume for production tracking and compliance records. You’ll be trained to detect production defects early and report irregularities to team leaders or quality control staff.

Basic Qualifications:

• Comply with factory safety policies, including the use of PPE like gloves, goggles, or ear protection.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, dies, or molds used in manufacturing.
• Document production data, including quantities, downtime, and any technical issues.
• Support a team-driven environment built on communication, safety, and reliability.
• Stay organized and detail-oriented to prevent errors or waste during operation.

Preferred:

• Able to spot irregularities, product defects, or unsafe conditions quickly and take appropriate action.
• Pays close attention to cleanliness and organization of the workstation and surrounding area.
• Background or interest in industrial operations, mechanical systems, or manufacturing processes.
• Thrives in fast-paced, task-oriented settings where precision and output go hand in hand.
• Understands and follows safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and proper PPE usage.

You’ll receive regular feedback and performance check-ins to support long-term growth and shift consistency. You’ll work closely with shift leads and quality control teams to meet output targets and reduce material waste. You’ll rotate through different stations or machines as assigned to support cross-training and workflow flexibility. You’ll receive guidance on lean production, waste reduction, and proper material usage. You’ll be expected to work on your feet in a chilled, clean, and sometimes fast-paced environment. You’ll be expected to stand, move, and focus for long shifts — often around moving parts and loud environments. Prior experience in food or beverage production is a plus, but not required if you’re reliable and eager to learn.
