Description:

We’re looking for a Courier Intern who’s ready to navigate the city with confidence, delivering small packages on foot, bike, or scooter with speed and care. You’ll begin by assisting with loading the van each morning, organizing deliveries by route and urgency. You’ll assist with picking up deliveries from central hubs or restaurants and ensuring everything is correct before heading out. You’ll be trained to handle sensitive cargo like business documents, electronics, medical supplies, or legal materials. You’ll help maintain delivery logs, update transport records, and confirm hand-offs with clear signatures and documentation. You’ll be taught how to handle fragile, high-value, or time-sensitive packages with extra security and attention. You’ll receive safety training related to traffic laws, secure packaging, and lifting techniques to avoid injury. You’ll support loading and unloading processes, learning how to organize items by route for efficiency. You’ll gain experience in handling fragile, urgent, or sensitive deliveries with extra care and attention.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends when needed.
• Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers or recipients.
• Prioritize urgent deliveries without compromising safety or quality.
• Adapt quickly to weather conditions, traffic detours, or last-minute delivery changes.
• Report vehicle issues, delivery problems, or incidents to supervisors as needed.

• Able to navigate apartment buildings, office complexes, or rural addresses confidently.
• Wants to grow into roles like Dispatcher, Fleet Coordinator, or Route Manager.
• Familiar with handling fragile, urgent, or temperature-sensitive items appropriately.
• Able to safely load, transport, and deliver packages, documents, or food orders without damage.
• Familiar with using delivery tracking apps or handheld scanners to update order statuses in real time.
