Description:

We’re looking for a Pastry Decorator who specializes in turning imagination into edible reality — someone who loves crafting one-of-a-kind cakes and desserts that make every celebration unforgettable. You’ll work on custom orders for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, corporate events, and more — each with its own theme, challenge, and flair. You’ll work closely with the baking team to ensure all items are decorated and ready for display, pickup, or delivery on time. You’ll work with buttercream, royal icing, modeling chocolate, fondant, and airbrushing tools to create textures and effects. You’ll collaborate with the baking team to ensure timing aligns — so each item is decorated fresh and ready for delivery or pickup. You’ll also prepare décor elements in advance and ensure all materials are food-safe, fresh, and visually consistent. You’ll also prep decorative elements ahead of time, including handmade sugar flowers, custom monograms, and molded accents. You’ll monitor inventory of toppings, sprinkles, piping bags, and tools, restocking and reporting low supplies when needed. You’ll work in a climate-controlled decorating studio with professional tools and a small team that values silence, skill, and clean execution.

Basic Qualifications:

• Clean and maintain tools like piping tips, spatulas, and airbrush kits for long-term use.
• Follow hygiene and food safety standards at every step of the decorating process.
• Ensure consistent quality by following recipes, color guides, and design references.
• Stay current on trends in pastry art, color palettes, and themed styling.
• Adapt designs quickly when last-minute changes or constraints arise.

Preferred:

• Can write legible messages on cakes and create sculpted or tiered designs with proper support.
• Able to replicate designs across batches with consistency and quality control.
• Background or passion in pastry arts, baking, cake design, or culinary presentation.
• Experience decorating cakes, cupcakes, pastries, or cookies for events, bakeries, or custom orders.
• Comfortable customizing desserts for holidays, weddings, birthdays, or themed celebrations.
