Description:

We’re looking for a Web Designer Trainee who’s eager to bring websites to life — no experience needed, just visual thinking, digital curiosity, and a passion for crafting user-friendly interfaces. You’ll assist in designing website layouts, homepage mockups, and user flows under the guidance of experienced designers. We’ll teach you the fundamentals of visual hierarchy, spacing, color theory, and how to design for responsiveness. You’ll learn to use tools like Figma, Canva, or Adobe XD to create clean, modern, and accessible interfaces. Expect to work with real content — not lorem ipsum — so you can design around actual user needs and behaviors. You’ll get familiar with tools like Figma, Webflow, or Adobe Creative Suite to build layouts and explore design ideas. We’ll guide you through best practices in responsive design so your work looks great on any device. You’ll assist in refining navigation menus, content blocks, and page hierarchies for usability and clarity. You’ll also support A/B testing efforts, helping assess which designs perform best and why.

Basic Qualifications:

• Design visually engaging websites that are both user-friendly and on-brand.
• Work closely with copywriters, marketers, and product teams to align on messaging and goals.
• Balance aesthetics with usability—every design choice should serve the user experience.
• Bring creativity to even the smallest details—icons, buttons, error states, you name it.
• Refine designs based on feedback, testing, or performance data.

Preferred:

• Willing to design for CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow when needed.
• Comfortable adapting designs for brand refreshes, campaign assets, or seasonal variations.
• Thrives in collaborative, feedback-driven environments with a blend of creativity and precision.
• Comfortable collaborating with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specs.
• Enjoys transforming ideas into visually engaging and intuitive digital interfaces.
