Description:

We’re hiring a Clinical Psychologist Trainee who’s ready to explore the therapeutic process from the inside — no previous experience required, just empathy, professionalism, and a deep interest in mental health. You’ll support licensed psychologists in preparing session notes, researching therapeutic techniques, and maintaining case documentation. We’ll teach you how clinical psychologists build trust, track progress, and manage sensitive emotional material. You’ll learn how to document progress, track behavioral patterns, and participate in debriefs with licensed psychologists. Expect to be involved in both individual and group therapy contexts, depending on your supervisor and placement. You’ll gain exposure to a range of cases — from mild anxiety to complex trauma — and learn how each requires a unique approach. We’ll guide you in writing session summaries that are factual, respectful, and clinically useful. You’ll observe how nonverbal cues, silence, and tone shape the therapeutic dynamic. You’ll gain awareness of how culture, background, and environment affect client experiences and therapeutic rapport.

Basic Qualifications:

• Supervise interns or junior clinicians if licensed and experienced.
• Track patient progress over time and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed.
• Document all sessions, treatment plans, and diagnoses in line with legal and ethical standards.
• Design workshops or support groups when appropriate for broader therapeutic outreach.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff to ensure holistic care.

Preferred:

• Organized with session scheduling, intake documentation, and referral coordination.
• Comfortable working with individuals, couples, or groups across various age ranges and backgrounds.
• Proficient in applying therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or psychodynamic therapy.
• Able to build therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Can maintain accurate records for case reviews, insurance compliance, or research purposes.
