Description:

We’re hiring a Painter to help transform residential and commercial spaces with precision, care, and a steady hand — perfect for someone who enjoys visual results and takes pride in a clean finish. You’ll prep and paint exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers depending on the material and access method. You’ll work on ladders, scaffolding, or suspended platforms, always following safety procedures for height and fall protection. You’ll follow client instructions and color specs to match tones, textures, and finishes exactly as requested. You’ll help set up and break down containment areas, scaffolding, and ventilation systems before and after each job. You’ll assist in mixing paints and matching colors using digital tools or traditional formulas. You’ll mix pigments, glazes, and plasters to match color samples and blend seamlessly between areas. You’ll be trained to work on both interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and siding. You’ll rotate between residential homes, offices, retail spaces, and renovation sites based on the project schedule.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to achieve smooth, even finishes.
• Inspect completed work for touch-ups or inconsistencies and make adjustments as needed.
• Follow blueprints or color schemes provided by clients, designers, or supervisors.
• Adapt to different surface types—wood, concrete, drywall, brick—and adjust techniques accordingly.
• Follow safety protocols when working with ladders, scaffolding, and chemical products.

Preferred:

• Capable of reading blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions to follow job requirements accurately.
• Background or interest in construction, property maintenance, or decorative finishes.
• Wants to grow into roles like Lead Painter, Foreman, or Decorative Finishes Specialist.
• Can touch up, repaint, or repair previously painted areas as needed for maintenance or finishing.
• Willing to work in occupied spaces respectfully, maintaining a clean and quiet work environment.

You’ll help install signage, patch scuffs, and handle small touch-ups before final inspection or walkthrough. You’ll be trained in surface compatibility, environmental conditions, and specialty material handling. You’ll be expected to keep your work neat, tools clean, and supplies organized throughout each project. You’ll work under the guidance of a lead painter or foreman, and collaborate with other trades for maximum efficiency. You’ll work both solo and in small artisan teams, depending on the size and complexity of the job. You’ll work indoors most of the year, with occasional exterior finishing in good weather. Previous experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person who’s reliable, observant, and ready to work hard.
