Description:

We’re hiring a Cashier who understands that the final impression matters just as much as the first — someone who’s friendly, focused, and ready to make every checkout smooth and positive. You’ll be the friendly face customers see at checkout, helping them complete their shopping with ease and satisfaction. You’ll begin by shadowing experienced staff and gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence grows. You’ll greet every customer with genuine enthusiasm and treat each one with kindness and patience — even during the busiest moments. You’ll assist in bagging items, organizing small impulse displays, and keeping the checkout area neat and fully stocked. You’ll help restock front-of-store merchandise and maintain tidy, inviting checkout lanes. You’ll be part of a supportive team where asking questions is encouraged and helping each other is part of the daily routine. You’ll alert supervisors to register issues, pricing inconsistencies, or anything that might slow the flow of service. You’ll follow safety and cash handling procedures closely, knowing your accuracy helps the whole team succeed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support coworkers when needed, whether it's stocking shelves or helping with cleanup.
• Thank every customer genuinely—it’s the last impression before they leave.
• Provide correct change and issue receipts with a smile and clear communication.
• Be punctual and dependable—your role is essential to the flow of the store.
• Answer questions about products, promotions, or return policies when asked.

Preferred:

• Familiar with basic customer service practices, upselling techniques, and store policies.
• Willing to help with restocking near registers, merchandising impulse buys, or monitoring front-end cleanliness.
• Comfortable standing for long shifts and working weekends, holidays, or closing hours.
• Willing to help de-escalate conflicts calmly and refer customers to supervisors when needed.
• Understands the importance of cleanliness, appearance, and station organization.
