Description:

We’re looking for a Nurse who builds trust over time — someone who provides not just care, but presence, consistency, and dignity for patients who need ongoing support. You’ll work with individuals who require long-term or chronic care, getting to know their routines, personalities, and progress in detail. You’ll manage daily treatments, monitor conditions, and ensure each patient’s comfort and safety are prioritized every shift. You’ll administer IVs, monitor vitals, manage pain, and assist with emergency procedures as part of a rapid-response team. You’ll coordinate with physicians, surgeons, and specialists to stabilize patients and prepare for transfer or discharge. You’ll document events and interventions in real time, balancing speed with legal precision. You’ll develop strong relationships with patients — offering encouragement on slow days and celebrating every small improvement. You’ll document care in real time, with attention to detail and a clear understanding of legal and procedural requirements. You’ll help train new staff and maintain readiness for mass-casualty or critical care overflow events.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be the steady presence patients rely on—you’re the heartbeat of the care team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and continuing education to stay current.
• Prepare patients for procedures or surgeries by explaining steps and providing emotional support.
• Manage time across multiple patients while adapting to shifting priorities.

Preferred:

• Organized with shift reports, charting, and handoffs to ensure continuity of care.
• Values compassion, diligence, and professionalism in every patient encounter.
• Pays close attention to patient safety, medication accuracy, and timely interventions.
• Able to manage physical demands of nursing such as lifting, standing, and extended shifts.
• Comfortable supporting health screenings, immunization drives, or community health programs.
