Description:
We’re hiring a Junior Frontend Developer Trainee to help turn Figma designs into functional, pixel-perfect components — no experience required, just attention to detail and solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JS. You’ll start by turning static layouts into flexible, mobile-first designs that work across all screen sizes and browsers. We’ll teach you how to add transitions, hover effects, microinteractions, and scroll-based animations using modern tools like Framer Motion or GSAP. You’ll learn to go beyond layout: timing, easing, delays, and feedback that gives users clarity and confidence. Expect to work with design systems, reusable components, and modern frameworks like React or Vue as you grow. You’ll learn how to use Git properly, write clean pull requests, and review code with clarity and respect. You’ll also learn how to keep animations lightweight and performance-friendly, even on mobile or low-end devices. We’ll help you read Figma files, match spacing, use rem units, and make everything responsive across viewports. We’ll guide you on performance tuning, cross-browser quirks, and how to handle "it looks different on Safari" like a pro.
Basic Qualifications:
- Fix layout bugs, polish animations, and make sure everything looks great on all screen sizes.
- Write or update simple documentation for components or workflows as you go.
- Collaborate with designers and backend devs to bring features to life smoothly.
- Stay curious: read docs, follow dev blogs, or build side projects that keep you sharp.
- Use Git daily and get comfortable with branches, merges, and fixing the occasional merge mess.
Preferred:
- Comfortable working with backend developers to integrate frontend with APIs and auth flows.
- Familiar with package managers like npm or yarn and basic build tools (Webpack, Vite, or Parcel).
- Able to debug using browser developer tools and fix layout or console errors effectively.
- Experience working with modern frontend frameworks or libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Pays attention to performance optimization, lazy loading, and image handling in web apps.
Benefits:
- Celebrate your first feature, your first bug fix, your first refactor — we’re with you.
- Access to designers who actually provide components — no lorem ipsum UI chaos.
- Modern stack — think React, TypeScript, Tailwind, not jQuery and regrets.
- We care about accessibility, performance, and clean code — and teach it too.
- Clear tasks, helpful docs, and a team that comments with context, not confusion.
Your goal will be to deliver clean, scalable code that makes designers proud and users comfortable. js pages, layouts, data fetching methods, and explain why server/client rendering matters. Your components will be tested on multiple devices, reviewed by the team, and pushed to real users with your name on the commit. You’ll gain real experience shipping production-ready frontend and understanding the standards that separate amateur code from professional UI. You’ll work closely with designers, backend devs, and PMs — learning how to translate real requirements into working features. No problem — if you’ve built a personal site, a clean landing page, or a mobile nav that works, we want to see it. By the end, you’ll have a portfolio full of interactive UI work and the confidence to build interfaces that feel like craft, not code. If you’re ready to turn designs into motion and build experiences people actually enjoy — we’re ready to help you start. If you love turning pixels into components and obsessing over spacing — we’re ready to help you grow into a frontend pro.
