Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to support the food and beverage operations in our hotel — perfect for someone who takes cleanliness seriously and thrives in a team-driven, guest-focused environment. You’ll be responsible for washing plates, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans using both industrial machines and manual methods. You’ll assist in unpacking, setting up, and operating mobile dish stations in temporary kitchens or prep tents. You’ll work with commercial dishwashing machines and perform manual scrubbing for heavy pots and delicate kitchen tools. You’ll assist cooks and prep staff by keeping clean tools and containers available when needed. You’ll restock clean items to multiple kitchen and service stations across the hotel, often walking between floors or banquet spaces. You’ll monitor detergent levels, water temperature, and machine performance to keep things running efficiently. You’ll communicate clearly with chefs, servers, and stewards to prioritize items during peak hours or events. You’ll rotate between washing, drying, and putting away dishes while also helping with kitchen organization.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain a clean uniform and show up ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Respect food waste handling rules and dispose of leftover food according to kitchen policies.
• Help clean kitchen appliances, prep tables, or storage areas when needed.
• Use protective gloves and follow safety practices when handling chemicals or hot equipment.
• Handle glassware and sharp tools carefully to avoid injury or breakage.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in food service, kitchen operations, or hospitality support.
• Able to hand-wash delicate or large items such as pans, knives, and glassware when required.
• Organized in sorting dishes, utensils, and kitchenware by type and material for efficient cleaning and drying.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy racks, and bend frequently throughout shifts.
• Enjoys contributing to the success of the team through behind-the-scenes work.

You’ll rotate duties including silverware polishing, glass drying, and tray setup depending on daily schedules. You’ll follow closing schedules that may vary slightly depending on the day’s volume or kitchen pace. You’ll maintain a clean uniform and follow basic appearance guidelines as a representative of the kitchen staff.
