Description:

We’re looking for a Film Director with a strong artistic voice and the ability to bring unique, emotionally grounded stories to life — someone who can see the invisible structure behind every frame and elevate it with vision and soul. You’ll be the creative force behind our productions, responsible for translating scripts into compelling visual journeys across genres and formats. You’ll work closely with screenwriters, producers, and cinematographers to ensure narrative, pacing, and style are aligned from day one. We expect you to direct talent with sensitivity and clarity, drawing out performances that feel raw, layered, and alive. You’ll make critical decisions around camera movement, blocking, and framing to maximize narrative and visual impact. Your creative direction will influence everything from costume design to lighting tone to soundscape strategy. You’ll be deeply involved in pre-production, including shot lists, mood boards, color palettes, and visual research. On set, you’ll lead with clarity and calm, navigating the realities of tight schedules without compromising creative intent. In post-production, you’ll oversee editing, color grading, sound design, and scoring to ensure everything clicks in rhythm and tone.

Basic Qualifications:

• Translate a script or concept into a compelling visual story with clear artistic vision.
• Collaborate with cinematographers, production designers, and costume teams to build the film’s visual world.
• Watch daily footage (dailies) to catch issues early and ensure continuity.
• Stay deeply involved in every stage of production—from first draft to final cut.
• Guide actors’ performances to bring characters to life authentically and emotionally.

Preferred:

• Willing to collaborate with writers, producers, and creative teams from concept to final cut.
• Enjoys guiding teams toward a unified creative vision from concept to screen.
• Proficient in planning shot lists, blocking scenes, and collaborating on camera movement, lighting, and composition.
• Able to adapt quickly to challenges on set and make decisions under time pressure.
• Thrives in high-pressure, creative environments where leadership and vision drive impact.
