Description:

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Assistant to support our team in creating and executing effective email campaigns. You’ll be responsible for drafting, scheduling, and sending marketing emails to promote products, services, and brand content. You’ll assist in creating visually appealing email templates and optimize them for different devices and email clients. You’ll assist in building segmented email lists, targeting specific customer groups with personalized messaging. You’ll track and report on email performance, analyzing open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to improve future campaigns. You’ll assist with the implementation of A/B testing to optimize subject lines, messaging, and design for better results. You’ll ensure that all emails are optimized for mobile devices, ensuring a seamless experience for all recipients. You’ll work with email marketing tools and automation systems to set up and maintain automated email workflows.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help design visually appealing email templates that are mobile-responsive and accessible across devices.
• Segment subscriber lists based on behavior, location, or engagement to ensure emails are targeted and relevant.
• Maintain subscriber lists—cleaning bounces, removing duplicates, and ensuring compliance with privacy laws like GDPR/CCPA.
• Support lead generation efforts by integrating forms and pop-ups across websites or landing pages.
• Stay updated with email marketing trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to keep campaigns effective.

Preferred:

• Knows how to write clear subject lines, preview text, and CTAs that drive engagement.
• Comfortable using Canva or other tools to design basic banners or visuals for emails.
• Understands the basics of GDPR compliance and permission-based email marketing.
• Knows how to organize and tag subscribers based on actions or interests.
• Open to learning how to build drip campaigns and behavior-based automations.

You’ll ensure compliance with email marketing regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other privacy laws. You’ll stay informed on the latest email marketing trends and best practices, incorporating fresh ideas into campaigns.
