Description:

We’re looking for a Sports Coach who leads with purpose, energy, and heart — someone who inspires athletes to grow both on and off the field. You’ll work closely with youth athletes, building confidence, motor skills, and a deep respect for teamwork and effort. You’ll prepare athletes for competition by instilling discipline, focus, and a strong work ethic. You’ll teach the fundamentals of the sport, breaking down complex movements into learnable steps. You’ll track performance over time, using both observation and metrics to highlight growth and adjust focus. You’ll give clear, age-appropriate feedback that helps each athlete understand how to get better. You’ll manage team dynamics, mediate conflicts, and promote sportsmanship at every turn. You’ll also mentor athletes on nutrition, mindset, and injury prevention as part of long-term development. You’ll monitor progress, adjust programs, and help athletes set and achieve personal performance goals.

Basic Qualifications:

• Analyze performance during practices and competitions to provide personalized feedback.
• Recognize when an athlete needs encouragement, discipline, or just someone to listen.
• Track individual and team progress over time, setting goals and celebrating milestones.
• Provide honest, constructive feedback—whether it’s for a star player or a beginner.
• Organize travel, gear, schedules, and logistics for practices, games, and tournaments.

Preferred:

• Able to create structured practice plans that focus on skill development, conditioning, and teamwork.
• Background or passion in sports science, education, kinesiology, or competitive athletics.
• Wants to grow into roles like Head Coach, Athletic Director, or Performance Trainer.
• Enjoys helping others achieve their potential through structured training and mentorship.
• Open to leading warm-ups, cooldowns, recovery routines, and seasonal fitness programs.
