Description:

We’re hiring a Pharmacist who understands that sometimes, healing begins with a calm voice and clear instructions. You’ll be the one behind the counter who doesn’t just fill prescriptions — you explain them like a trusted advisor. You’ll check prescriptions with laser focus — spotting errors, catching interactions, and asking the questions others don’t. You’ll check dosages, flag interactions, and ask the tough questions others might miss. You’ll be the calm expert when a parent is nervous, when an elderly patient forgets, or when someone’s just had a bad day. You’ll keep workflows tight, systems clean, and inventory in check without breaking a sweat. You’ll turn a crowded waiting area into a space of trust, reassurance, and quiet efficiency. You’ll help people navigate side effects, insurance confusion, and late-night questions with empathy and patience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Monitor inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies, placing orders and managing stock to avoid shortages or expirations.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement of pharmacy processes.
• Educate patients on over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and medical devices, helping them make informed decisions.
• Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, DEA, local pharmacy boards) including controlled substance protocols.
• Provide accurate drug information and clinical insights to healthcare providers, patients, and team members.

Preferred:

• Able to support vaccination programs and administer immunizations where permitted.
• Familiar with over-the-counter (OTC) recommendations and guiding customer choices appropriately.
• Knowledgeable about insurance processes, billing codes, and prior authorizations.
• Keeps up with pharmaceutical research, new medications, and treatment guidelines.
• Comfortable providing patient education regarding side effects, storage, and adherence.
