Description:

We’re looking for a Newsletter Copywriter who knows how to grab attention in an inbox full of noise — someone who understands that every word matters when you’ve only got a subject line and a few seconds to hook a reader. You’ll be responsible for crafting email campaigns that sound like they were written for one person — not blasted to a list. Your job is part writer, part storyteller, and part strategist, using your words to keep readers informed, inspired, and connected to the brand. You’ll work with our team to build content calendars, align emails with launches and campaigns, and make sure every message supports our larger brand narrative. You’ll work closely with marketing, content, and design to make sure every send supports larger campaign goals while delivering value in its own right. You’ll test headlines, play with CTAs, and track what works so you can write even better next time.

Basic Qualifications:

• Edit and proofread every word carefully—spelling, grammar, clarity, and brand tone all matter.
• Balance value and promotion—give readers something useful while still nudging them toward action.
• Coordinate with product, support, or leadership teams to include important updates without overwhelming the reader.
• Write engaging, concise, and brand-aligned copy for weekly or monthly newsletters that people actually want to open and read.
• Collaborate with designers to make sure layout and visuals enhance, not distract from, the message.

Preferred:

• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy.
• Keeps up with newsletter trends, formats, and strategies used by successful brands.
• Enjoys brainstorming hooks, angles, and content ideas based on audience behavior.
• Understands the basics of email deliverability, spam triggers, and formatting best practices.
• Knows how to repurpose blog or social content into concise email formats.
