Description:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester who takes bugs personally — someone who notices what others miss and genuinely cares about delivering clean, intuitive, frustration-free products. You’ll be responsible for executing manual test cases, documenting bugs, and verifying fixes across web, mobile, or desktop platforms. You’ll execute test cases, perform exploratory testing, and identify layout issues, crashes, or broken flows. We expect you to test with empathy — not just “does it work,” but “does it make sense, feel smooth, and behave consistently? You’ll review product requirements and ask the right questions before development even begins. You’ll help test in different environments, screen sizes, browsers, and devices to ensure coverage across platforms. You’ll maintain a healthy list of test scenarios and update them as features evolve. You’ll also keep track of multiple app versions and help manage testing timelines within the sprint. You’ll perform regression testing before deployments and verify that previous bugs haven’t crept back in. You’ll assist in exploratory testing, negative testing, and usability checks to provide full-spectrum quality feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

• Test web, mobile, or desktop applications manually to ensure features work as expected.
• Collaborate with automated QA or DevOps teams to complement coverage and improve testing strategy.
• Follow test cases step by step—and go beyond them when your instincts say 'something feels off'.
• Stay curious—poke around the app even after the checklist says you’re done.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and PMs to catch issues early in the build cycle.

Preferred:

• Able to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports using tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Understands the software development lifecycle and the role of QA in agile or waterfall environments.
• Capable of verifying bug fixes and validating acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Familiar with creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
• Familiar with test case management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray is a plus.
