Description:

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our remote team and produce high-quality video content. You’ll be responsible for editing raw footage, adding sound effects, music, and creating polished videos that align with our brand vision. You’ll collaborate with the content team to understand project requirements and bring their vision to life through high-quality video production. You’ll be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with the brand’s tone and style. You’ll ensure that videos are engaging, well-paced, and visually appealing, adhering to brand guidelines and objectives. You’ll help create video content for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, optimizing each video for the platform’s audience. You’ll help create motion graphics, animations, and special effects to add creativity and visual interest to the videos. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple video projects at once, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Create intro/outro animations, lower thirds, or branded overlays that reinforce visual identity without overwhelming the viewer.
• Cut, trim, and arrange clips for flow and pacing, adding transitions, titles, music, sound effects, and motion graphics as needed.
• Keep backup files and export presets handy so work isn’t lost and render time is efficient.
• Incorporate feedback with a flexible mindset—tight turnarounds are common, and clarity is key.
• Provide rough cuts, versions, and final renders with clear communication on what’s included and what needs review.

Preferred:

• Familiar with adding royalty-free music, sound effects, and voiceovers where needed.
• Willing to stay updated on editing trends and content performance.
• Experience organizing project files, assets, and revisions systematically.
• Background or interest in film, media, digital marketing, or content creation.
• Able to take initiative and suggest creative improvements to enhance video impact.

You’ll work with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve to edit footage and create seamless transitions. You’ll assist in creating video intros, outros, motion graphics, and animations to enhance the production value of our content. You’ll participate in brainstorming and creative meetings, offering fresh ideas to enhance the video content strategy. You’ll manage and organize video files, ensuring they are properly stored, labeled, and easy to access for the team. You’ll assist with creating and managing video libraries, organizing assets for easy access by the team.
