Description:

We’re hiring a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Assistant to join our team and support the daily operations of our online store. You’ll assist in updating product listings, ensuring all information such as descriptions, images, and pricing is accurate and up-to-date. You’ll assist with processing orders, coordinating shipments, and handling any customer inquiries related to deliveries or product issues. You’ll help monitor inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked and available for customers to purchase. You’ll assist with managing product categories, optimizing product pages for search engines, and maintaining a clean online storefront. You’ll handle customer service inquiries, providing timely and professional responses to resolve any issues or concerns. You’ll manage product categorization, ensuring the website is organized and easy for customers to navigate. You’ll monitor and report on sales data, providing insights to help improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be flexible and ready to help with anything from uploading a new product to chasing a supplier for tracking info.
• Monitor product inventory, flag low-stock items, and help manage restocking schedules or product discontinuations.
• Respond to customer inquiries or complaints via email or platform messages, maintaining a helpful and professional tone.
• Conduct competitor research to benchmark pricing, descriptions, and merchandising strategies.
• Help test new store features or product pages to confirm functionality before launch.

Preferred:

• Organized and detail-oriented with daily checklists for shop maintenance tasks.
• Able to assist with customer inquiries, order status updates, and basic returns or refunds.
• Pays close attention to product accuracy, category structure, and variant organization.
• Familiar with managing product listings on platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, or Amazon.
• Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, Excel, or Airtable for product tracking and order management.
