Description:

We’re hiring a Public Relations Trainee who’s excited to learn how to manage brand image, engage with media, and tell stories that connect — no experience required, just a love for language and a sharp sense of timing. You’ll assist in crafting press materials, preparing Q&A briefs, and curating media contact lists for outreach. We’ll teach you how to identify the right journalists, craft story angles, and follow up professionally to land coverage. You’ll assist with media lists, daily monitoring, and tracking brand mentions across press and social platforms. Expect to monitor brand mentions, scan headlines, and flag opportunities or risks in real time. You’ll also support social media messaging, company blogs, and cross-channel communication with a PR lens. We’ll guide you in understanding media cycles, deadlines, and what makes a story newsworthy. You’ll assist in compiling media coverage, creating recap reports, and evaluating PR success with clear metrics. You’ll be included in team discussions about positioning, timing, and media angles that spark coverage.

Basic Qualifications:

• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets across industries.
• Write FAQs, talking points, and internal comms to support consistent messaging during sensitive situations.
• Manage crisis communications by staying calm, strategic, and two steps ahead.
• Plan and execute PR campaigns around product launches, events, or brand milestones.
• Help the company stay likable, relatable, and trustworthy in the public eye.

Preferred:

• Experienced in writing for both B2B and B2C audiences depending on brand goals.
• Familiar with building and maintaining media contact lists and outreach strategies.
• Willing to assist with community engagement, partnership coordination, or thought leadership content.
• Willing to help shape talking points, FAQs, and key messaging for leadership or spokespeople.
• Thrives in fast-paced, media-driven environments where reputation and trust matter.
