Description:

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Discord Server Designer to help us build a thriving, engaged online community. You’ll be responsible for structuring and organizing our Discord server, ensuring it’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Your creativity will shine through in custom channel layouts, user roles, and graphics that make the server feel alive and welcoming. Your creative touch will be seen in custom server graphics — from emotes and banners to background images that capture the community’s spirit. You’ll ensure that each server is organized, clean, and functional while still reflecting the brand’s personality and tone. You’ll collaborate with the community management team to keep the space safe, friendly, and inclusive for all members. You’ll collaborate with moderators and community managers to keep the space organized and safe for everyone. You’ll troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and make updates to keep the server running smoothly. You understand how to balance aesthetics and functionality — making sure everything has a purpose while still looking visually appealing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Create templates or cloneable setups that can be reused for future projects, clients, or campaigns.
• Optimize for mobile and desktop users alike—test layout visibility and UX across devices.
• Implement roles, permissions, and access logic that balance security, functionality, and ease of use.
• Support branding consistency by using proper naming, visuals, and tone across the server.
• Create rules, FAQs, and pinned resources in a clear and welcoming tone that fits the community’s personality.

Preferred:

• Can balance fun and function by integrating game nights, feedback systems, or stage channels.
• Background or interest in community management, UX design, branding, or tech.
• Pays attention to user experience, clarity, and aesthetics in server organization.
• Familiar with server templates, backups, and exporting/importing configurations.
• Enjoys creating digital spaces that are engaging, inclusive, and easy to navigate.
