You’ll assist in researching topics, interviewing real people, and turning facts, quotes, and moments into written pieces that inform and resonate. We’ll teach you how to structure headlines, leads, and story arcs that grab attention and keep people reading. You’ll learn how to build trust with sources, take notes quickly, and write pieces that reflect complexity without confusion. Expect to draft blog posts, polish landing page text, and help brainstorm headlines that convert without being cliché. We’ll guide you on how to separate fact from opinion, check sources, and avoid assumptions — the foundations of ethical reporting. We’ll show you how to write for real people — with clarity, flow, and zero fluff — whether it’s a 100-word promo or a 1,000-word how-to. You’ll help write articles, product stories, bios, content for social media, and even brand manifestos. You’ll gain experience across content formats — from web copy to in-app messages — learning where AI helps and where it can’t replace real instinct.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help brainstorm creative campaigns or content series that tell a bigger story.
• Write headlines, subject lines, and social copy that grab attention without being clickbait.
• Write clear, compelling content across formats—articles, blog posts, emails, landing pages, and more.
• Meet deadlines reliably while maintaining high standards for accuracy and originality.
• Edit your own drafts with a critical eye before submitting for review.

Preferred:

• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms.
• Enjoys researching, storytelling, and shaping opinions or behaviors through writing.
• Experience writing articles, blog posts, press releases, or branded content in a journalistic or marketing context.
• Values truth, clarity, creativity, and relevance in every word written.
• Familiar with AP or Chicago style (or willing to learn editorial standards as needed).
