We’re looking for a Newsletter Copywriter who can turn ordinary updates into engaging, click-worthy stories that spark interest and drive action. You understand the rhythm of a great newsletter: a killer subject line, an irresistible opening, and content that flows with clarity, personality, and purpose. Whether it’s a product update, weekly digest, campaign launch, or just a casual check-in, you know how to strike the right tone and guide the reader from line one to CTA. You’ll work closely with the marketing and content teams to align each newsletter with campaign goals, seasonal trends, and brand tone. You get excited about open rates, geek out over A/B testing subject lines, and love fine-tuning copy until it *feels* just right. You understand the flow of a strong email: a headline that hooks, body copy that informs or entertains, and a CTA that doesn’t feel forced.
Basic Qualifications:
- Work with automation tools (like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot) to preview, schedule, and QA emails.
- Coordinate with product, support, or leadership teams to include important updates without overwhelming the reader.
- Write engaging, concise, and brand-aligned copy for weekly or monthly newsletters that people actually want to open and read.
- Collaborate with designers to make sure layout and visuals enhance, not distract from, the message.
- Bring personality and brand voice to every edition so subscribers feel a connection to what they’re reading.
Preferred:
- Can follow brand guidelines and adapt to specific brand voices across different industries.
- Can structure emails for readability with clear headers, CTAs, and scannable formatting.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy.
- Enjoys brainstorming hooks, angles, and content ideas based on audience behavior.
- Knows how to repurpose blog or social content into concise email formats.
