We’re offering an entry-level opportunity to become a Building Maintenance Technician, no experience required — just a willingness to learn and show up on time. You’ll be part of the crew that keeps the building running smoothly, from light fixtures to water systems. From day one, you’ll be part of a team that repairs, inspects, and maintains everything from lights to locks. You’ll begin by shadowing experienced maintenance staff and learning the basics of building systems. Expect to carry tools, replace filters, reset thermostats, and keep mechanical rooms clean and organized. You’ll gain insight into plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general upkeep — all in real-life settings. You’ll learn how to report issues, follow up on open tickets, and stay on top of routine inspections. Expect to get your hands dirty — fixing leaky faucets, replacing tiles, and making sure everything works as it should. You’ll learn the difference between quick fixes and long-term solutions — and when to escalate issues to senior techs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Test and maintain emergency systems such as backup generators, exit lighting, and fire extinguishers according to schedule.
• Identify opportunities to improve building energy efficiency, safety, or space functionality and report them to management.
• Assist with furniture setup, workstation moves, or minor renovations as directed by building management.
• Work independently or as part of a facility team to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies (e.g., power outages, water leaks, security alarms) according to building protocols.

Preferred:

• Willing to assist with minor renovations, painting, drywall repair, or furniture assembly.
• Understands how to read blueprints, equipment manuals, or work orders.
• Keeps maintenance rooms, tools, and common areas clean and organized.
• Able to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues.
• Comfortable working independently or alongside janitorial, security, or vendor teams.
