Looking for your first hands-on job? If you’ve never worked on a job site before, that’s okay — we’ll teach you everything from the ground up. You’ll begin with essential safety training, including how to wear protective gear and move safely on site. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced crew leads who will show you how things are really built — not just in theory, but with your hands. You’ll show up on time, stay alert, and know that even small tasks — sweeping, measuring, moving materials — keep the project moving. You’ll learn how to work with your hands, your eyes, and your level — because finishing work isn’t just muscle, it’s precision. You’ll learn how to mix concrete, handle rebar, use levels, cut lumber, and install components step by step. Expect to break a sweat, get your hands dirty, and feel like you accomplished something by the end of each day. You’ll be expected to ask questions, take correction well, and never pretend to know something you don’t — that’s how real tradespeople grow.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist with various construction tasks such as digging trenches, loading/unloading materials, mixing concrete, and cleaning job sites.
• Support traffic control or pedestrian redirection on public-facing construction projects.
• Participate in ongoing training for certifications like OSHA, flagging, or equipment operation if required.
• Assist with roadwork, landscaping, or exterior finishing tasks depending on the construction site type.
• Assist with excavation, pouring foundations, framing, roofing, or paving work depending on the phase of construction.

• Thrives in active, physical environments with clear goals and strong teamwork.
• Values hard work, safety, and craftsmanship in the building process.
• Understands basic construction processes such as framing, pouring concrete, or demolition.
• Wants to grow into roles like Skilled Laborer, Site Foreman, or General Contractor.
• Knows how to operate basic site equipment like wheelbarrows, ladders, or scaffolding.
