Description:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester to help us deliver smooth, bug-free mobile experiences — someone who tests like a real user, spots flaws early, and understands that small glitches can ruin big moments. You’ll test mobile apps across iOS and Android devices, verifying that every screen, gesture, and interaction works as intended. You’ll execute test cases, perform exploratory testing, and identify layout issues, crashes, or broken flows. You’ll report bugs with precision: what happened, where, how often, and why it matters — so developers can fix quickly and clearly. ” You’ll write clear, reproducible bug reports and maintain accurate test logs to support ongoing development. You’ll participate in daily standups and sprint planning to stay aligned with upcoming releases and testing timelines. You’ll test across browsers, devices, screen sizes, and user scenarios to uncover inconsistencies and edge cases. You’ll also keep track of multiple app versions and help manage testing timelines within the sprint. You’ll test across multiple builds, log environments, and work within sprint cycles to deliver fast, stable releases. You’ll help build and maintain a checklist of real-world scenarios: switching apps, incoming calls, dark mode, accessibility, and more.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work closely with developers, designers, and PMs to catch issues early in the build cycle.
• Re-test failed scenarios and edge cases after every deployment or release.
• Help onboard new QA testers by sharing tips, gotchas, and hidden bugs.
• Validate UI/UX consistency, checking layout, alignment, and responsiveness by eye and intuition.
• Stay curious—poke around the app even after the checklist says you’re done.

Preferred:

• Able to test features independently while also contributing to team-wide QA coverage.
• Capable of verifying bug fixes and validating acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Pays attention to UI/UX details, layout consistency, and basic functionality during exploratory testing.
• Background or interest in software quality, product testing, or digital product development.
• Willing to document steps, gather screenshots/videos, and collaborate with developers to isolate issues.
