Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to support our catering operations — perfect for someone who thrives behind the scenes, adapts quickly, and keeps things running clean in dynamic event environments. You’ll be responsible for washing plates, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans using both industrial machines and manual methods. You’ll rotate through dish machine operation, hand-washing, drying, and sorting clean items for restocking. You’ll work closely with line cooks and prep staff to ensure they have the clean tools they need to keep service moving. You’ll keep dish areas, sinks, floor mats, and drains clean and clutter-free at all times. You’ll collect dirty trays from return stations, stacking and sorting them for safe and efficient washing. You’ll assist with end-of-day cleanup, including sweeping, wiping equipment, emptying trash, and removing food waste. You’ll be trained in food safety, chemical handling, and hygiene practices according to local health codes. You’ll follow all hotel hygiene standards and help prepare for regular health inspections and internal audits.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude—even during high-pressure rushes.
• Maintain a clean uniform and show up ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle glassware and sharp tools carefully to avoid injury or breakage.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures and temperature guidelines to ensure food safety compliance.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff by keeping a steady supply of clean items during busy service.

Preferred:

• Open to helping prep food, portion ingredients, or assist cooks during slow dish periods.
• Understands the importance of teamwork and communication in keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
• Familiar with drying, polishing, and restacking for buffet setups, events, or fine-dining service.
• Capable of restocking clean items to appropriate stations and notifying staff of shortages.
• Pays attention to detail to ensure every plate, cup, and utensil meets cleanliness standards.

You’ll be expected to travel with the team, arrive on time, and represent the company professionally. You’ll rotate shifts that may include early breakfast prep, weekend events, or evening banquets.
