Description:

We’re looking for Construction Worker Trainees to join our interior and exterior finishing crew — no experience required, just a careful hand, good attitude, and willingness to learn every day. If you’ve never held a hammer, mixed concrete, or read a tape measure — don’t worry, we’ll teach you step by step. You’ll start by learning basic site safety: how to wear PPE, how to lift properly, and how to move around a jobsite without getting hurt or getting in the way. You’ll use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and heavy materials — and we’ll train you to use each one safely and properly. You’ll begin with simple tasks: carrying materials, keeping the site clean, measuring, marking, and helping more experienced workers stay on track. You’ll learn how to work with your hands, your eyes, and your level — because finishing work isn’t just muscle, it’s precision. You’ll learn how to mix concrete, handle rebar, use levels, cut lumber, and install components step by step. You’ll be part of a team where quality matters more than speed — and you’ll get faster the right way, not by skipping steps. You’ll start to notice things you never did before: crooked angles, air bubbles, loose grout, missed spots — and you’ll be the one to fix them.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist with excavation, pouring foundations, framing, roofing, or paving work depending on the phase of construction.
• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, or barricades as needed to support site operations.
• Operate basic tools and equipment including hammers, saws, drills, compactors, and forklifts under proper supervision.
• Participate in ongoing training for certifications like OSHA, flagging, or equipment operation if required.
• Use hand signals or radios to communicate with crane or heavy equipment operators safely and clearly.

Preferred:

• Familiar with using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively (e.g., drills, saws, hammers).
• Willing to help clean and prepare job sites before and after construction tasks.
• Able to report hazards or damaged tools to supervisors quickly and responsibly.
• Can take direction from supervisors and ask clarifying questions when needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
