Description:

We’re hiring a Discord Server Designer who can transform a blank canvas into a vibrant, active community hub. You’ll be responsible for creating an inviting, easy-to-navigate layout that encourages positive interaction among members. Your role involves setting up channels, categories, and roles to optimize the user experience and encourage interaction. Your creativity will shine through in custom server graphics, including banners, emotes, and icons that give the community a unique identity. You’ll work closely with our community team to implement features and tools that enhance the overall experience for members. You’ll ensure that each section of the server serves a clear purpose, creating a space that’s both functional and visually pleasing. You’ll collaborate with moderators and community managers to keep the space organized and safe for everyone. You’ll troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and make updates to keep the server running smoothly. You’ll collaborate with moderators to develop guidelines and keep the space respectful and engaging.

Basic Qualifications:

• Configure automation tools and bot integrations for moderation, announcements, leveling systems, or custom commands.
• Help migrate or restructure existing servers without losing data, channels, or community engagement.
• Create rules, FAQs, and pinned resources in a clear and welcoming tone that fits the community’s personality.
• Document the server architecture, role hierarchies, and bot setups for easy maintenance or future handoffs.
• Be available for feedback and tweaks post-launch—server design is rarely one-and-done.

Preferred:

• Can advise on engagement systems like XP, badges, or loyalty rewards.
• Understands community-building through structured channels, events, and announcements.
• Able to design intuitive server layouts with welcome channels, rules, and role assignment flows.
• Can document the server layout for team members or future admins.
• Understands Discord permissions, roles, and moderation settings for secure environments.
