Description:

We’re seeking a Film Director who can lead projects with vision, discipline, and emotional intelligence — someone who sees film not just as entertainment, but as impact, language, and experience. You’ll be responsible for shaping the overall tone, pacing, and narrative of each project, guiding it from concept to final cut. We expect you to collaborate closely with writers, cinematographers, production designers, and editors to ensure visual and thematic coherence. On set, you’ll guide actors with empathy and clarity, helping them uncover the emotional truth of each moment. You’ll work closely with DPs and production designers to craft a distinct visual style that enhances the narrative without overpowering it. You’ll actively participate in pre-production, including location scouting, casting, visual referencing, and scheduling. We’ll rely on your leadership during shooting — keeping energy high, focus tight, and quality uncompromised. On set, you’ll lead with clarity and calm, navigating the realities of tight schedules without compromising creative intent. Post-production will involve working closely with editors, sound designers, and composers to shape mood and rhythm.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain a clear vision while staying flexible enough to adapt to unexpected moments of brilliance.
• Make split-second creative choices on set when unforeseen challenges arise.
• Keep the crew inspired, focused, and aligned—even when energy dips after long days.
• Oversee rehearsals, blocking, and on-set dynamics to ensure a smooth production flow.
• Work under pressure while juggling multiple creative, technical, and interpersonal demands.

Preferred:

• Organized with production timelines, storyboards, call sheets, and shot breakdowns.
• Enjoys guiding teams toward a unified creative vision from concept to screen.
• Able to adapt quickly to challenges on set and make decisions under time pressure.
• Able to translate scripts and storyboards into visual scenes with emotional impact and technical precision.
• Strong storytelling ability with a clear vision and command over cinematic language, pacing, and tone.
