Description:

We’re looking for a Barista Trainee to join our mobile coffee team — someone who’s flexible, upbeat, and ready to learn the ropes in a fast-paced, on-the-go setting. You’ll start by learning how to calibrate espresso machines, grind beans to spec, and prepare pour-over setups with care. You’ll observe how our team balances precision with warmth — weighing every shot while still greeting every guest by name. You’ll be trained to take orders quickly, remember regulars, and make every interaction feel personal, even in a rush. You’ll help serve everything from flat whites to iced matchas — and discover the little rituals that turn drinks into experiences. You’ll support front-of-house service by taking orders, explaining the menu, and making thoughtful recommendations. You’ll work with other departments — sometimes greeting HR visitors, handling meeting coffee trays, or prepping drinks for executives on the go. You’ll learn how to build a drinks menu that respects the season, highlights origin beans, and pairs well with our pastries. You’ll learn how to prep cold brews, batch lattes, and handle bulk drink orders without compromising quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep track of ingredient levels and restock supplies like beans, syrups, cups, and napkins as needed.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks with consistency and care.
• Stay organized during rushes, prioritizing quality without slowing down service.
• Ensure proper brewing techniques, milk frothing, and latte art for a great visual and taste experience.
• Adapt quickly when orders are changed, mistakes happen, or supplies run low.

Preferred:

• Familiar with basic coffee bean knowledge, roast profiles, and brewing techniques (e.g., pour-over, French press, cold brew).
• Experience preparing espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and specialty beverages in a café or restaurant setting.
• Follows hygiene and sanitation procedures strictly, including regular equipment cleaning and workspace maintenance.
• Organized with restocking ingredients, labeling items, and managing inventory for shift readiness.
• Thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused settings where speed meets craft.
